Curated by Cloé Pitiot, the Centre Pompidou is presenting the first major retrospective devoted to the work of Pierre Paulin, a designer who left his mark on the second half of the20th century, contributing to a new lifestyle. This retrospective exhibits key pieces that have never or rarely been shown to the public, including the Coupe aux Nénuphars, theAraignée ceiling light and the Bonheur du Jour desk, together with other now iconic items, like the Tripode Cage, the Mushroom and the Tongue.

582-606 Collins Street’ Tower by Zaha Hadid Architects
At the end of last year, Zaha Hadid Architects unveiled their tower proposal for the city ofMelbourne (Australia). Realized with local Plus Architecture and developed by Landream, the 582-606 Collins Street’ Tower is one step closer to receiving the go-ahead with construction. Proposed for the city’s central business direct, the mixed-use tower will house shops, offices and apartments with a significant proportion of the ground plane given over to public realm, with external area dedicated to a plaza accessible 24 hours a day.
