Call for Artists: BorderBody - Mixing
FuturesInternational video-art, photography, installation and
performing art festival
EXTENDED DEADLINE: April 05, 2014 International ArtExpo is selecting all interesting photo works, video/short films, installations and performing art works to include in the next 2014 exhibitions: BorderBody – Mixing Futures, international art festival of photography, video art, installation and performing art which will be held in the prestigious Palazzo Barone Ferrara in Bari (Italy), from the 17 to the 24 of April 2014. BorderBody exhibitions cycle is conceived as a diffused and nomadic festival in different places of the world. Mixing Futures, the final chapter of this 3-event cycle, explores the future visions of our society, subjected to a process of continuous evolution and cultural hybridization. People, backgrounds, societies, progress and all their inputs creates hybrid identities, modifying each other and being mixed in prospect to shape a better world. Mixing sustainable transport, modern (ICT) communication infrastructure, sustainable economic development, and wise management of natural resources, human, intellectual and social capital, is the key to reach a future better life quality. The event is open to photography, video art, installation and performing art. Palazzo Barone Ferrara is a magnificent historic building of XIX century, symbol of importance and progress of the city. Located in the centre of Bari, is the headquarters and exhibition space of Banca Apulia bank.
Extended deadline for
application is April 05, 2014.

The number of works you can submit is unlimited. The participation in
the International Art Festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks.
Participation open to: artists, architects and designers, associate groups and
studios.
International ArtExpo is an art organization that
provides a significant forum for cultural dialogue between all artists from
different cultures and countries. ArtExpo is grateful to all of the
institutions, corporations, and individuals who support our artistic projects.
We work with a number of national and international galleries as well as
publishers, museums, curators and critics from all over the world. We help
artists through solo and group exhibitions, gallery representation, magazine
reviews and advertisements, press releases, internet promotion, as well as
various curatorial projects.
