From 1979 to 2012, Swiss artists Peter Fischli (b. 1952) and David Weiss (1946–2012) collaborated on a body of work that offers a deceptively casual meditation on how we perceive everyday life. Through a witty “misuse” of cultural genres – from low-budget Hollywood movies and picture-postcard views to the art historical notion of the readymade – they transformed the ordinary into something decisively not.

Fashion Rules Restyled: new dresses, new rules. This hugely popular exhibition has been restyled with iconic new dresses from the collections of HM The Queen, Princess Margaret and Diana, Princess of Wales. As the Queen’s younger sister, Princess Margaretexperimented with fashion, and in the 1950s patronised the Paris couturiers to create a distinctive high-glamour silhouette.

Starting from April 15, 2016 the V&A will tell the story of underwear design from the 18th century to the present day, considering the practical and personal, sensory and fashionable and exploring underwear’s roles of protecting and enhancing the body.Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear will display more than 200 examples of underwear for men and women, highlighting the enduring themes of innovation and luxury, from the custom made, such as a rare example of home made ‘stays’ worn by a working woman in England in the 18th century to pieces by designers including Stella McCartney, La Perla, Rigby & Peller and Paul Smith.

O. Yemi Tubi was born in Ibadan, Nigeria. His BFA Degree was obtained from Valdosta State College, Valdosta Georgia USA where he majored in Graphic Design. He currently lives and works as a Graphic Artist in United Kingdom.
